The American Brain Tumor Association is building more than programs. We are building a community where no one faces a brain tumor diagnosis alone. Across the country, patients, caregivers, survivors, researchers, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and donors come together to support one another and advance the mission. In 2025, that community included more than 7,300 BT5K participants, 760 active volunteers, 60 volunteer-led events, and support for more than 300,000 patients and caregivers.

That sense of community extends far beyond fundraising events. Through Team ABTA, volunteer-led initiatives, educational programs, and the National Conference, the ABTA creates opportunities for people to connect, share experiences, and find trusted resources. Every event strengthens relationships, raises awareness, and reminds families that they are part of a larger community committed to hope and progress.
Strong communities drive meaningful change. Every volunteer, participant, advocate, and donor helps advance research, expand patient support, and ensure that individuals and families affected by brain tumors have access to the resources they need today while helping create better treatments for tomorrow.
