Adolescent & Young Adult (18-39) Monthly Virtual Meet Up

January 7 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The American Brain Tumor Association recognizes the unique social and emotional needs of adolescent and young adult (AYA) brain tumor patients. The goal of this virtual support group is to provide an accessible space for AYA brain tumor patients to meet, connect, share experiences, and foster community.

Programmatic Goals:

  • Create a consistent, supportive community where AYA brain tumor patients can connect with peers who understand their lived experiences.
  • Provide a safe, empathetic environment where participants can express feelings, reduce isolation, and share coping strategies.
  • Help participants build confidence in managing the emotional, social, and practical challenges of living with a brain tumor.
  • Facilitate opportunities for participants to exchange insights, resources, and approaches to navigating healthcare and survivorship.
  • Recognize and affirm participants’ evolving identities, values, and goals throughout all stages of diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
