Shanu Khanuja currently works within the biotech industry and serves in commercial roles that continue to bring to light the patient journey. 

She was a caregiver to her mother who was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma in 2011 and passed two years later. She then became active with the ABTA as a volunteer for the CareLine and as a mentor to other caregivers. 

She is also very active with the American Cancer Society where she mentors breast cancer patients. She has mentored many caregivers and/or patients in her various organizations and stays involved to help others through their journeys.
