In honor of Brain Tumor Awareness Month, we are hosting a Q&A session on our online support community, Connections. Dr. Stefania Maraka and Jean Arzbaecher, RN, MS, will be available from Monday, May 6 to Friday, May 10 to answer questions about brain tumors.
Dr. Maraka is a neurologist at the University of Illinois (UI) Cancer Center and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at UI. Jean Arzbaecher is an advanced practice nurse with expertise in neuroscience nursing and brain tumor care at the UI Cancer Center.
Here’s how you can participate:
- Log in or join Connections at www.inspire.com/groups/american-brain-tumor-association/
- Starting Monday, May 6, the top post on Connections will be about the Q&A. Ask any of your questions as a comment on that post.
- We will be sending Dr. Maraka and Ms. Arzbaecher your questions daily and posting their responses in the comment section as they come in.
