Our Mission

The American Brain Tumor Association exists to eliminate brain tumors through research and to meet the needs of brain tumor patients and their families.

Founded in 1973, the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) was the first national, nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting brain tumor research, while offering information and support to brain tumor patients and their families. Last year, the Des Plaines, Ill.-based ABTA provided more than $2.6 million in research and 1.3 million services and resources to brain tumor patients, their family members, and health care providers.

Explore this Web site to learn more about ABTA. If you have questions, or are looking for help or resources, please call us at 800-886-2282 or send an e-mail to: info@abta.org.
