Changing Michela

2 years ago at the end of July, my mother was taken by ambulance to a hospital for her family to find out that she had a brain tumor the size of a grapefruit in her bifrontal lobe, she was sent for immediate surgery and after five hours the first thing she said was “where are my kids” unbelievably shocked were the doctors when she started to speak, they were surprised she still had the ability to speak and think properly. Two years later, her family still struggles with adjusting to her memory loss, her inability to work like normal and her emotional instability. We have faced so many hardships and continue to face them as she has two young kids and three young adults who are all but one still in school. Never the less, with the crazy hardships we’ve faced, this strong woman, 48 years old, hasn’t stopped being a mother to her kids. But For whoever reading this, thank you for taking your time to listen to our story, if there is any way that you can help us, provide us with resources it would all be appreciated. Thank you all again.
