Interested in community service, in helping others, in making sure scientists can continue their work in brain tumors? Then consider becoming an ABTA volunteer. Volunteering feels good! There are many different ways you can help.

Perhaps you and your friends may help raise funds by holding ...

a car wash
a bake sale
a cafeteria candy sale
a school dance
a garage sale

Maybe you would like to visit local libraries and hospitals with our information. (We send it to you, and tell you how to do this.) Perhaps you're a computer buff, and would like to join our Youth Advisor group. Our advisors helped put together this site. Or maybe you'd like to sell brain tumors awareness pins at a local health fair. Whatever your niche, we're always looking for volunteers.

If you are interested in helping, first talk to your parents. Bounce your ideas around with them. What type of activity fits you best? Would you need someone to help you? Will one of your parents serve as a resource for you if you plan an event? How much of your time will the activity take, and how long will it take to organize? Once you talk to your parents, please have them contact us. Our Volunteer Coordinator can be reached by calling (800) 886-1281.
