Rudy was getting ready to retire, just 2 months to go when he got the diagnosis of GBM-4 in March 2010. He'd made it through being in the Army and spending a year in Vietnam when he was only 18 years old. He wanted to have a family early and then retire when he was young enough to enjoy some life after working for many years. All of his dreams to retire, move to Arizona and play golf every day was gone when he received the diagnosis. He fought Brain Cancer for 21 months with his family beside him all the way. He is greatly missed!
