Have "Faith" and "Believe" but most of all, never give up on yourself even on the worst of days. Things in your life can and will get better if you don't let depression get the best of you.

On September 14, 1993, I had a gran mal seizure which led to a diagnosis of an Oligodendroglomia tumor in the right hemisphere of the temporal and frontal lobes of my brain. Approx. 2/5 of my brain is tumor.

The neurologist and neurosurgeon both gave me a prognosis of 10 yrs. life expectancy since both of my tumors are inoperable and incurable.

In 2003, my seizures got so bad in 2003 that my wife of 14 years walked out on me. She took our 3 children whom I had raised since birth as I could no longer work a job like other husbands. However, I have no regrets whatsoever. I made it out alive and am doing better now than I was in 2003. I attribute this to simply having faith in God and praying for his guidance. According to the scripture that I follow it states, "he will never leave us nor forsake us."

With the advancements in medications, my seizures have been reduced down from 2-3 per week to 1-2 per month or every other month. Thank God! My story shows that I'M LIVING PROOF 17 YEARS LATER!

God Bless you all! Don't give up! I didn't and won't ever!
