My story is twice the pain. My mother was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of 59. She had surgery to remove the largest part of a "mulitpal" brain tumor. Following that, she had radiation and chemotherapy. About 5 months after surgery and while undergoing radiation the tumor grew back and fast. She died 6 months to the date of diagnosis. Two years later, my father was diagnosed with the same "cluster" brain tumor. He died 3 months later. One year after his death, his oldest brother was diagnosed with the same brain tumor. He lived 8months following diagnosis. I have since learned of two other close neighbors both of whom succumbed to the same diagnosis.
