I thought it was grief

I was diagnosed with a gigantic meningioma exactly 12 months after my husband died. I didn't recognize my symptoms at first because I was so deeply entrenched in grieving. Finally I couldn't ignore that my whole left side was going numb and having difficulty walking and staying on my feet (I fell a lot). The last straw was I had difficulty breathing and went to the ER. By then I had ju gotten the shocking news. The only bright side, it is malignant. The performed a craniotomy the following week over 2 days and 40 hours (my surgeon is a rock star!) I rehabbed for the next 3 months and will be having another surger. they were not able to get all of the alien monster inside my brain due to it's massive size and location. I leave the worry to the professionals. Being positive can do wonders!
