My life was forever changed 15 years ago when I learned what Brain Cancer was. Months of headaches, nausea, vision issues led to a diagnosis of Glioblastoma Multiforme. I was 35, successful, healthy and in great physical shape. I was a triathlete which = invincible.... right?! Wrong!!!! After a successful resection, radiation and a short stint with chemo, I jumped back into the competitive triathlon racing. I even raced an Olympic distance course for Brain Tumor research. Giving back has been a focus for me while recovering and then flourishing. I am forever grateful for my medical team and holistic practitioners for showing me all options to fight the disease. 15 years to a better life? I would say so!!
