Guest speakers present information about treatment and long-term survival issues.  Licensed counselors facilitate separate Support Groups for parents; teen patients/survivors age 12-16 and young adult patients/survivors.  Younger patients/survivors and siblings have exciting activities designed by the therapy staff. BEAT –Support Group meets six times a year on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Catered lunch is served. Parking is free.

BEAT is available to all pediatric brain or spinal cord tumor patients and their families regardless of where the child is receiving medical care.
