W.K. Alfred Yung, MD, is Professor, Neuro-Oncology; Chairman, Department of Neuro-Oncology; Margaret and BenLove Chair in Clinical Cancer Research at UTMD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX. He received his doctoral degree from University of Chicago, completed a residency in neurology at University of California, San Diego, and a fellowship in neuro-oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY. His research interests include growth regulation, differentiation and tumor heterogeneity in human primary brain tumors.
