Chicago, Ill., May 12, 2015 – The American Brain Tumor Association announced today that the BT5K Spokane Breakthrough for Brain Tumors Run & Walk will be held on Saturday, May 16 at Spokane Falls Community College in Spokane, Wash.
“The BT5K run/walk is our signature fundraising event that brings communities together to raise vital funds for promising brain tumor research and essential education and support services for patients, caregivers, and their families,” said Elizabeth M. Wilson, MNA, president and CEO, American Brain Tumor Association. “We are thrilled to be in Spokane with our growing 5K event.”
The American Brain Tumor Association’s BT5K is open to runners and walkers of all ability. This family-friendly event is one of the organization’s eight run/walks taking place in cities coast to coast. Hundreds are expected to participate with a goal of raising more than $50,000 to fund brain tumor research and give more patients, caregivers and families access to critical education, information and support services.
The BT5K Spokane event is Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at Spokane Falls Community College, 3410 W Fort George Wright Drive Spokane, Wash. Participants can learn more or register online at http://www.bt5k.org.
