The American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) Announces Fellowship and Translational Research Funding Opportunities for 2010

The American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) is now accepting applications for its 2010 Basic Research Fellowship and Translational Research Grant programs. Applications are due in the ABTA office no later than January 8, 2010 for Fellowships/Translational research to begin July 1, 2010. Downloadable applications can be accessed online. ABTA /ONS Foundation Offering $10,000 Neuro-oncology Research Award
The American Brain Tumor Association and the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Foundation are offering a two-year, $10,000 grant for research on symptom management, support systems, or quality of life in neuro-oncology patients and their families. Funding preference will be given to projects that involve nurses in the design and conduct of the research activity, and that promote theoretically based oncology practice. ONS membership is not required. Letters of intent are due October 1, 2009. Read more.
